:) - SFX gives a happy welcome to FlowingWater! - She signed on 2 days ago and i verified it with Strato so i've added her into the members list. I'm looking forward to a good season btw, and i think we can all do really, really well too! :) cya.

Also, i have been telling strato that i will add the StratoHermius 11-20 rope-race collection to this site, and i meant to do it ages ago but other things got in the way. When our new map shopping cart is put online i'll be adding all of herms maps and stratos maps properly, but until then i suggest going over to herms web-site @ http://www.wormnet.net/herm and downloading all of the awesome rope-racers. (most of you have probably already been there and done that tho').

hey-all. i finally got around to uploading some of the maps that i have received lately. There are still more that will be added when the new Map Shopping Cart will be done but for the time being you can get the sfx Map Pack: sfx_NewMaps_07-10-2001.zip (These are maps received after the 7th of September). I've also included a readme file if you wish to read that. :)

Also we have some new members who have joined us: xLeGiox, Back2Skool and CellBlock. :) - Many welcomes from every-one here at sfx btw.

Okay, it's been a strange week. Things are changing here at sfx and as far as i've been told a couple of members have decided to leave, this includes reaps and sikz - And becuase they are going it means that mimik, chapa, sneak and tempest are leaving as well.

Now something i gotta add is that sfx won't die contrary to some of the opinions goin' around and I for one will make sure it won't. This is also true of tjerp and likwid and strato - thx for supporting us and not giving up!
I also want to welcome in 3 of my good friends whom i've wanted in sfx: Pollackinator, Zeeke and TAZ .. i trust you guyz =) that's why i asked you in cuase the support you have shown is heart-felt.

Lastly, i wish to thank sikz and dOgMa for starting sfx so long ago and for letting me help with the clan in it's small beginning - Without you we wouldn't be here today. All you guyz leavin' are still my good m8s btw cuase you all did great in sfx and who are we to say when and where you decide to go.

Now, the following news is to the numerous wormers / map authors that are sending in maps to me: Yes, maps are still getting checked, Yes they will be added to the site soon, and Yes keep sending them in. The reason for the halt on new maps getting put up is becuase there's alot of work to be done with our new map database that Annelid76 is working on (which some or most of you probably already know about). The good news is that he's hinted toward it being ready over the next 1-2 weeks so we can all look forward to that and to the fact that all maps will be getting **properly** put onto the site. This will include a rating and category system. The maps section will be like a Shopping Cart where you can add your maps to the cart and then download them all in one go.

So you're wondering something like "Hey! wtf! i just sent in maps to you! Does this mean i'am going
to have to wait for ages before my wonderfully creative map gets put up? damnit! you suck! " ... Sheesh, chill-out, what i'm planning on doing in the mean-time is chucking all the maps i have (waiting to be added) into a big .zip file which will be posted into the news probably in the next few days. So.. after the new map system is implemented all maps will be moved to the Appropriate Map Areas.

Keep sending in those maps btw. And also i would like to take this opportunuty to apologise to some of you that have been waiting forever to have your maps put up.
