Lots of thx to map authors for posting in their maps by the way and keep up the great work. It's nice to know worms survives through your dedication. :)

Also, the map author Shayxpere requested that i post some words about his maps.. That: he hopes people enjoy his forts and to inform wormers they're available in this map pack. Basically he was hesitant to release them but decided that it would be fulfilling to know that people could download them and play them online.

All of the maps in this archive have been checked and i admit some have been "moderated". This is never easy but sometimes if a map is not constructed properly or needs more work... well, it's something i consider necessary.   :(

Okay, some good news! the Worms Map Making Tutorial has been uploaded! Currently it's at v1.0 and has enough information to help people with textures and lots of other tricks and stuff. It took me a while to make all the graphics and write up all the details and paint shop pro instructions, but still, i hope it's useful! :)

I've also posted about it at Team17's forum so you may want to post any questions there? cyaz.

First of all some sfx clan updates: our member Skel is now a co-leader. We also have some new members which i've added to the members page. Good to have you guys n' girl aboard :)

Now, Snipes67 said something about updating the site, so i thought yeh, good idea and have decided to put the Map Packs for wormers here in the news. I'm listing all the downloads for the time being but will be fixing up a section for them later:

    Yup, the sfx site has been going through some ups and downs trying to find a home. Our phpBB2 forums are backed up afaik (thx tjerp) but we're now stuck without any php or mysql access until something is sorted out. As to why our www.sfxclan.com access has been taken away, we're still not 100% sure on the details.

    Something may work out for us tho' ... and at least the good news is that i have finished the phpBB2 forum redesign - so when and if we ever get php/mysql access back, you can expect a nicely revamped forum with some interesting mods and hacks that i've installed and re-worked. They're all nicer and more convenient/efficient now + i created some interesting additions of my own to an already outstanding community board. But, like i said, that will happen when we get things sorted out with php and mysql :(

    Anyways, thx for stopping by - and yeh, i know it's sad that we're back here again @ my old and functionally decrepit server, but perhaps there will be something done about the php and mysql access sometime.

    okay, we now have some new forums available at www.sfxclan.com/forums - The bad part is that you will have to register again ... sorry about that but there's nothing that could have been done. Now, as far as customizing the new board goes, i'm working on it offline and already have most of it ready to go, hopefully the next couple of days will see the whole phpBB2.0.1 redesign uploaded and smoking along nicely (new forum graphics, template changes and a few phpBB2 code tweaks).

    I've also thrown up a little announcement here as well. Once again sorry that new users will have to fill out the registration stuff again ... sigh.

    oh and yeh, i've archived more news :) ... cya.
