Yup! i did a count of how many maps we have available at the moment & it turns out that we have a total of 170 terrains here! - That's pretty impressive imo so lots of Thanks to all of the map authors who sent in maps to be evaluated! :)

New maps were added today: Sephiroth: Track1b (BattleRace), IronDragonLord: Fort, Basil & Co: ShopperMap1, NOeFeX: GhettoShopper, pxpx768: MPxFINAL (shopper), & q!: Calvin&HobbesShoppa.

(Note: there were some maps that weren't selected not becuase i have anything against any of the authors or that the maps weren't good, simply becuase there were terrains that were similar or could have been done a bit better, or were lacking some important aspects. In any event if you have sent along a map and it didn't get in, don't be too cheesed off, cuase all the maps i got were of good quality but i had to be ruthless about which ones i chose. so let me finish by saying that rejecting a map certainly doesn't make me feel happy. Maybe test them online and see what they are like, and try to improve their appearance, layout or structure and re-submit improved versions if you want).

Right, i dunno how many of you have noticed but recently there seems to have been a surge in the ammount of people impersonating dOgMa on WN. I've seen 2 these past 2 days and i've seen more over the week, and i know other people have too. It's gay! dOg has decided that until this has died down he's gonna change his WN name for a bit..
So, what this basically means is; he'll still be making maps under the name dOgMa, but for WN, it's gonna be something different. So, from now and until i make another post saying otherwise, any dOgMa you see on WN is a imposter, no matter what. If it's not on the site that he's changed his name back, then it ain't him.

As a closing note, when are T17 gonna fix the logins? It's shit that someone has to change their screen name because of a problem that's apparently coming in a patch that we've waited close to a year for.

Hey all, A new map from Chosen1 has been added into the rope / shoppers section & is called Rock - Shopper. (btw, that means we now have 2 maps based on "The Rock").   :o)

[Post Script:   I did receive other maps but they haven't been chosen this time around. I've sent a few suggestions in the hope that the ones which had potential can be improved and re-evaluated].

Well, someone has finally done it. jiggaman and ser have released a WWP scheme editor that allows you to have indy land in your schemes. w00t to them! get it here. Expect it to be moved to the files section soon. At the moment the Open and random functions don't work, but save does so i felt this really was worth posting =)

And lastly. CL2K (www.cl2k.org) is back up, yay!

Thanx go to Tjerp, who has set up a Temporary Forum (using the gamers.com msg board service) whilst we arrange for the new sfx forums to be installed. - You can ask any questions about map design, sfx program developments, worms help, or anything else there. :)

I've added another shopper(!) to the maps section, this one by Brofeus called RockinRope. I've also added a BnG map from TheDude and a Fort map (called castle6) by Gargoyle. More maps should be on the way soon so stay tuned. :)

Well, someone deleted our UBB, and i already have a newer (hopefully more secure) version to install later today, i just need to clear a few things up on the server first and to say i know exactly who did it, but i haven't decided what to do about that yet..

It looks like all accounts are still there, and i don't think i have to delete them, so hopefully everything should be back to normal in a day or two. It does make me wonder with the ammount of time and effort we put into this site why the fuck someone wants to fuck with our ubb, but i'm sure i shall find out.

Hi folks.
2 new shoppers & a roper (ShoppaBee, sfx_HouseSoppa, ProRoperBees) from Gjam were added.
2 Shoppers from Dave.R. (DeathShoppa & WarriorShopper).
& 1 Roper from Kieran (Bart Roper).

Sorry to the people who's maps didn't get in this time. They were all good but just seemed to feel a bit empty or needed more work on the map development / structure / theme front. You can resubmit for another chance anytime. :D

Update:
Just a small update about a map from AznSaint which i received this afternoon called LabeledShopper. I've added it to the Shoppers section and i'd like to say that it's definately got my recommendations. :)

Okay heyas all we have a new member! Sheridan has joined sfx & she happens to have aspirations of becoming the best roper in the clan! :)

There's also a new map by AlphaEater called Sk8erShopper which has been added to the roper / shopper section and i also received 6 more maps yesterday and 11 today (eek) so those will be evaluated today or tomorrow and then any maps that are selected will be 'processed' and added.
