News news news...

Two members of SFX are now staff members over at CL2K. DarkMavis will be in control of the clan league and i'll be in control of the singles div2 league. Thanx to Poo and all the cl2k peeps, and congrats to DM =) Should be cool.

WormNet has been down since around 9:30am GMT, it's now 5:00pm GMT. I'm guessing this has to do with the patch, which i'm guessing/hoping/praying will be released soon. Fingers crossed and we'll have ranks back. Problem is, the ranks went down a year ago now, and the patch was promised for the month after. T17 are real good at deadlines =\

Me and dOgMa made a roper map not so long ago, it's great too, soon as i get it off him i'll get it up here, shouldn't be long now.

New maps - 3 awesome Ropers were added: 1 from the THExREAPERsfx called "Ganja", this map has got a really, really well done texture too! Another from SedateDragon: UNI roper, nice work m8! :)
& lastly in the ropers section there's a map by WareWorm called PVP (& it rocks) - This is a map that i textured at the request of imaginer, but the comic strip credits should all go to Scott Kurtz from pvponline.com, he created the graphics and they were used by wareworm. (all 3 of these maps deserve a look).

In the shoppers Shoppers there's a map by ThePro: Mk2 ... thx for submitting it.

Have fun with those new additions. :)

8 New maps(!) from TAZ: 323-2001 Shopper, Q: UNI Roper, Dw33b: Fort1, Fort3 & Fort7a, and lastly, sikz: (all roper maps) Free, IF, & Terrestrial. - [The Map authors that didn't get their maps in this time can expect some emails soon about what bugs or improvements were needed].

And lots of thank-you's to every1 for sending their terrains!. :)

Just a quick news post, i added another question to the Learning Zone yesterday and updated it a bit. I'll continue to update it with your suggestions. Also oTimeCrasho has been removed from the members list (cyaz m8). One last thing, i've edited the wa_GameRules that sikz made a while back and converted it into html format (if you are new to worms and need info on how certain games are played you can get a general idea from that).

Some Questions & Answers were added to the Learning Zone today, so if you want, have a look or if you are a know-it-all submit something that's missing. :)

Anyhow, i'm still evaluating maps submitted over the last few days or so and should have the ones selected up as soon as possible which could be anytime. ** (btw) If you are sending in maps be sure to submit .zip or .bit files, try to avoid sending bmp's (if you do send bitmaps even if they are zipped up, it may take quite a while longer before i can check them). ciao.

High, lots of news from me so off i go...

Our new message board is now live! I had to delete all old accounts due to security reasons so if you were registered on the old board you're gonna have to re-signup. I hope noone minds this too much but the new board is a hell of alot better anyway =)

We're currently working alot on the new board and are taking ideas for forums, so if you have any ideas tell us and we'll see what we can do. As you may have noticed we now have a dutch forum, this is been ran by two dutch wormers (duh) who are members and very good friends of mine, so if your dutch, hang out there or something =)

The Worms Olympics is designed for ropers wishing to test their skills, and is based along a chain of events to test you, these include: speed, shadows, spikes. In my opinion this is gonna be big, so signup for it =)

Now then, here's something that maybe should of been said sooner, but oh well. The graves in the flags/graves section are FOR SFX MEMBERS ONLY you are NOT allowed to edit them in anyway. So you are not allowed to do shit like this:

Hey all, i've added old news into the Archives below, made some cosmetic changes to the frames code for resolutions: 800x600 and even 640x480 (displays a little better anyhow). Also edited the right menu some-what so if you think of anything that might help our slowly evolving Learning Zone send along some suggestions.

Map Updates: [8 new maps added]
A new map from Q: Face Roper. Shoppers and BattleRacers from theperk85: Shopper2, Shopper3 (extremely good), br14, br10 & br9. And some shoppers from Y2JID: NewShopper1 & NewShopper2.
