Lots of stuff happening around here! Sikz rejoins sfx (welcome back m8!), LikWid becomes a new sfx member (yay) & Annelid updated his amazing SchemeWorks Program (it's an important update in which users do not need an ASCII text file anymore! This means easier access for new users). yipeee. :p
[ Note: As you are all aware there have been alot of new members joining sfx in just this 1 week. Now, this isn't becuase we're accepting new wormers in a frenzied rush, it's becuase sfx members have been worming with them for ages, so it's a coincidence they have joined at pretty much the same time ].

wow, it feels like i updated the site ages ago. Alot seems to have happened over the last couple of days and the msg board is going crazy with ideas and input from every! :)
The reason for this post is to inform any-one reading the news that 3 new members have joined sfx! :) ...
- Our good friend and resident rope-race designer: Stratovarius is now a part of sfx!
- The well known and respected wormer Chapa is now an sfx member too! :) ...
- And Annelid76 joins! - He is the JavaScript & progamming god who is working on the new Map Shopping Cart (this will revolutionise map downloads!) - He's going to help me with the site too. :)
Umm, sikz posted in the forum a farewell post ... his time with sfx has come to an end, and we will all miss him - I've cleaned up the members page btw and also had to remove some other members that were inactive as well. These include: sheridan, e77, & salty.
At the moment, there's only me running the show now so i'm going to find some-one to fill in as sikz's replacement :) (i'm trying to figure out who it will be).
Oh, and something i have to mention, is that Annelid76 is working on a new Map Database which is gonna be awesome! For this reason the maps sections haven't been updated much lately cuase we're trying to sort it all out. :)

oops, my bad! MiMiK joined sfx a couple of weeks back but i forgot to update the site with the info! sigh. So yeh, umm.. there's not much i can say except welcome and hf m8. :)
Vahagn - 13/09/2001 ** Scheme-Works Released! **
Over the last cuople of weeks Annelid76 has been working on a new Scheme Editor for W:A and WWP in which you can do everything you ever wanted to do in an editor, all online! I've been testing it for him and yesterday he sent me the final revision! - It's located in the Files Area: Scheme Works.
If you want, you can even Convert Schemes between W:A and WWP, or easily create new ones, online! no fuss! :)

Right, as you all know by now, i've been getting lots and lots of maps and i haven't had any time to get them put onto the site. I have of-course made previews and checked over lots of them but i have more and more arriving from different wormers all the time.
What i've decided to do is put them all into a big .zip file for people to download until i get the time to add them properly to the maps sections. [ i'm going to need some help to make a database or something to do it though and maybe some-one to help-out cuase it's going no-where fast ].

Happy Squirmings - oh and if you're wondering :: The new maps aren't up yet cuase i've been busy with some stuff which means that i haven't had time to do them all just yet. But... Here i am today with my first chance to do something about it, so stay calm, eat more chocolate and remember that yes, they are on the way.

Lots of news! First up, saltyk9 has joined sfx! Good to have you aboard m8.
... + DarkMavis has decided to leave worms and as a result isn't in sfx any longer, but i hope we'll still see DM around.
Now to the Site Updates - 29 new maps have been added to the following sections..
13 RopeRaces, 8 Shoppers, 4 Ropers, 2 SheepFort Maps, 1 Battle Race & 1 fort.
Also, we finally have the new textures area up and running! so if you're a map designer or are looking for some great textures for your new maps you can download some from there. Be sure to visit the authors home-page if you want more wormy stuff or perhaps share in the community spirit. :)
